Scheduling your consultation is as easy as reaching out to us! Consultations can be conducted either by phone or in person. In person consultations should take place on site at the location your needing to get work done. There is some information that you should bring with you or have available at the time of your consultation. The first thing you need to do after scheduling your consultation is send a GPS pinned location for your dock. You will be required to provide us with an email address and a phone number where we can reach you. Next, you will need to acquire a copy of your dock placement permit from the Corps, if you haven't already, and forward a copy of it to us. The dock owner is responsible for going to the Corps. to get their permit and taking care of any required paperwork. Without Corps approval, work on your dock cannot begin.
During the consultation we will discuss placement of your dock and what specific work you are needing done , as well as any corps requirements. We will get any specifics that may be required to get your estimate together. We may discuss pricing, but you will not receive your estimate at that time. Your actual estimate will be emailed to you, accompanied by a work agreement by the end of the next business day.
Consultations will be scheduled during the hours of 8a.m.-5p.m. Monday - Friday and 9a.m.-1p.m. on Saturday. If you require availability for consultation outside of these hours, you must call to request accommodations. Please note that in-person consultations WILL NOT be conducted after sunset.

You have at long last received the official estimate and work agreement, now you are ready to accept and get your name on our list to get your work done. That's great all you have to do is review your estimate, make sure that everything is on there that you wanted and look over the work agreement. If nothing is out of place, then you'll electronically sign the agreement and send it back. Once we have received that back from you, your name will go on our books. Work will be completed in as timely a manner as possible and on a first come first serve basis. We will notify you that you are next when we begin work for the person in front of you.

As previously stated, it is the dock owners responsibility to contact the Corps. and acquire the proper permits. Though we know the rangers and how to reach them, we don't normally interact with them except when the need arises. They prefer to deal with the owners of the docks or the dock masters. All work on the lake must follow the shoreline management plan. You can find a downloadable version of the shoreline management plan on the Corps. of Engineers website or by following the link below.
Dock work heavily relies upon the lakes water levels. The lake must be at summer pool before we can begin installing and\or removing docks. This is usually not done until mid-April. However, this date can be delayed depending upon the weather and how much rain we get. If we get a lot of rain then the lake may rise above the level of summer pool. This also makes it impossible to do complete dock work.
